No More Heros DVD

Yeah Bo films and Flying Nun Records proudly present No More Heroes - a film by Andrew Moore.

A tribute to nostalgia, the '70s & "the asphalt desperadoes of Aotearoa who took skateboarding from a fun pursuit into a full-blown national phenomenon". Uses rare photos, a Flying Nun soundtrack and hours of Super 8 home movies (including footage of Manukau's legendary skatepark Skatopia being opened by Rob Muldoon).

By 1978, skateboarding was like Marmite, both loved and craved by every kiwi kid. Edwards Skateboards - one of New Zealand's biggest skateboarding manufacturers - turned over $10 million between '75 and '80. With the economy sinking and rugby & cricket the only sports on offer, it was a case of the right subculture hitting the right country at the right time.

Uses rare photos, a 100% Flying Nun soundtrack and hours of Super 8 home movies..

Contains 40 minutes of previously unseen footage!
